The Beer Circle’s Eastern PA Brewery & Beer Nirvana Tour
Date: March 31st, 2012
Come meet The Beer Circle on our first beer Tour. For this initial tour we are hitting some of the best breweries and restaurants between Harrisburg. We’ve left out Victory (not open for tours), Weyerbacher (too far off the path), and many others. There are enough places to do Central PA and North East PA Beer Tours later. This is a very low key get together. No snobbery, just a chance to meet some good people and enjoy good food & beer. If you follow our various social networks, you’ll be kept up to date with our location!
Schedule: Directions
11:00 AM – Meet at Al’s of Hampden for beer and lunch (45 minutes). Al’s has a great draft list and a good selection of singles & 6-packs for purchase.
11:45 – 30 min drive
12:15 PM – Troegs – Self-guided tour with beer from tasting room (1 hour ). They should be selling the latest in their Scratch series at the brewery in Hershey.
1:15 – 55min drive
2:10 – Stoudts – We’ll be there too early for the tour but we can enjoy some brewery-only selections!
3:10 – 1 hour drive
4:10 – Capone’s – Beer or two ( 1 hour )
5:10 – 35 min drive
5:45 – Monk’s Cafe – Dinner and beer
For those of you who will be coming up from the DC area, a stop at Stateline Liquors in Elkton, Delaware is a definite must. One of the best selections I’ve seen.
